Pelosi: Cutting Poor Babies Accelerates Economic Growth

From Free Republic
Scrappleface ^ | Scott Ott

(2009-01-25) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told ABC News’ George Stephanapolous Sunday that the Democrat’s economic stimulus bill, containing hundreds of millions of dollars for “family planning” services for the poor, will make real cuts in the number of low-income people, thereby saving taxpayer dollars, and increasing average income for everyone.

“Poor people are a luxury we just can’t afford,’ said Rep. Pelosi, “They cost us a lot of money to maintain; what with food stamps, housing and health care. So if we can rapidly reduce the number of poor people through contraception and abortion, that’s a net gain for federal and state budgets, and a fast track to economic recovery. Every poor baby prevented is like money in the bank.”

A spokesman for Planned Parenthood, the world’s leading abortion sales chain, confirmed Mrs. Pelosi’s assertion, noting that “even if the stimulus bill helps harvest only the low-hanging fruit by reducing live births among blacks and hispanics, that would be a major boost, since minorities comprise nearly 50 percent of those on Medicaid.” Read Article

I have a question. Should I worry? I'm in my late 70s, a heart attack and cancer survivor. If we go to universal health care and Pelosi (who also believes in euthanasia) finds out I may be to expensive to live any longer, will they come for me? If they do, they may find themselves in a shoot out as I am a gun owner and a strong supporter of the Second amendment.

Planned Parenthood has already been killing off the black population before they can even get started. Now, Hispanics? "Low hanging fruit?" What an insult to both Blacks and Hispanics? God help us!

Abortion: What Now?

This is a follow up to the previous post. President Obama signed his executive order rescinding President Bush's Mexico City Policy executive order by signing the order on a Friday evening when the mainstream media wasn't paying attention. Why is President Obama trying so hard to hide it? Does he realize what he is doing is against the public will? Polls indicate most Americans are against abortion domestically or overseas.

Last Thursday, Representative Mike Pence (R-Indiana) introduced H.R.614, an amendment to Title X of the Public Health Service Act that would eliminate federal funding for Planned Parenthood. Doe it have a chance of passing? Only if enough people wake up. Otherwise the one party juggernaut will probably keep it from coming out of committee.

What Next on Abortion?

So Far, President Obama has said almost nothing in his speeches about abortion. Yet his pen is busy issuing executive orders canceling the Mexico City Policy, making it easier to spend our tax money for abortions worldwide.

It may just be that congress will pass F.O.C.A., (The "Freedom for Partial-Birth Abortionists Act"}, which will Invalidate All Limits on Abortion at 2:00 am some morning and Obama will sign it just before daybreak, while most of us are not yet beginning to rub the sleep out of our eyes.

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the
day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in licentiousness and lewdness, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts (Romans 13:11-14 ).

It is time for the Church to wake up and repent, so God can heal the land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Phill Kline Haters Still Abound

Commentary

Today, a new District Attorney for Johnson County, Kansas, was sworn in to replace Phill Kline. Will Steve Howe continue to prosecute Planned Parenthood? It is hoped so. Many are watching him to see if he will. I certainly will and you can bet you will hear about it here.

Kline is gone, but his haters can not let him go in peace. Local pro-abortion bloggers have called him by a variety of names, some vile, such as, abortion-hater, little Hitler, right-wing wacko, dirtbag, a*hole, right-wing zealot, etc. Some names can not be said in polite company. Those who can not measure up to a man, resort to name calling, which says a lot about them. Little minds try to whittle great people down to their own size by lies and name-calling. Many pro-abortion posters go from pro-life blog to blog making similar comments about Kline and others who are against abortion-on demand. I have had to delete some comments to my commentaries for the same reason.

There is a saying that goes like this: “What goes around, comes around.” Some say that this describes Karma. But, it is also a biblical principle found in Matthew 7:2, “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again” (King James Version). This means that those who have falsely judged Kline will at some time also be falsely judged, whether by family, friends, at school, or possible by a court of law.

Kline lost two positions in Kansas due to lies and character assassination by the news media, by corrupt politicians, and anti-pro-life bloggers. If you are guilty, your time will come. I hope when it does, you will have the guts to say so in your blogs!

Abortion Present: African-Americans are fighting the high toll of abortion in their own community by developing compassionate alternatives | Lynn Vincent

Alabama State University (ASU), a historically black college, is planted near the west side of the capital city of Montgomery, a birthplace of the civil-rights movement. The campus sits at the edge of a major housing project. Or as Tijuanna Adetunji puts it: "It's in the 'hood."

That made it the perfect place for Adetunji, 38, who grew up in the Montgomery projects herself, to share her message on African-Americans and the true nature of abortion. Read rest of article here.

Pro-Abortionists Attitudes

Commentary

Rick

If you have been reading some of the blogs that are put up by pro-choice, oops, I mean, Pro-abortionists, feminists, anti-creationists, etc., you have probably noticed how many four letter words they use. also note the mames they call District Attorney Phill Kline, e.g., "*hole," "slime-ball," "right-wing fanatic," "Pro-life extremist," and many more names which are even worse.

Is profanity and filth the weapon of choice of those that hate life? It certainly seems so. But then, it tells us a lot about them, does it not? Mt 7:20: Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Baby-killers are such a nice bunch of people.
