Commentary
Derrion Albert, a sophomore and an honor student at Christian Fenger Academy High School in the south Chicago neighborhood of Roseland, was killed on his way home from school on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Two gangs were fighting with hands and sticks and several boys hit him with the wooden sticks and kept hitting him when he was down. He died after being taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
People are asking the question: How could this happen? Is life becoming that cheap? That is not too hard to answer when we look at what has been happening in our country during the past several years.
Since 1973, we have killed 50 million pre-born babies through abortion. We are espousing euthanasia, and using embryonic stem cell for research and disposing of those not needed. Hollywood is producing more horror movies on the order of “Jason,” Friday the 13th,” citizens, including children, are butchered, cut apart, burned, etc., on large theater screens. Video games have become absolutely too horrible for adults to endure, but kids have become numb to the violence, rape, slapping women around, and other forms of mayhem and torture. And if the healthcare package–or packages bandied about–is passed, we will see the death of the elderly through health care rationing, in spite of denials to the contrary.
We can no longer allow God or Jesus in our public schools. However, the schools can teach other religious ‘cultures.’ They can teach alternate lifestyles, that America is an evil nation, that capitalism is evil, and don’t listen to parents who are conservative or religious. There is a growing anti-Christian attitude prevailing among educators and politicians. They blame Christians, and Conservative Republicans as the cause of all of our evils. And no wonder with the progressives having taken over at the ivy league colleges founded to teach pastors, filling professorships in most colleges and universities, and progressive brainwashed news media making sure the ignorant public stays that way.
However, I see the tide beginning to turn. Many of the silent majority are remaining silent no longer and are meeting, forming groups, joining tea parties, attending town hall meetings, re-asserting both First and Second Amendment rights, etc. The left seems to ignore them, which I think is good. This will guarantee they will begin to lose future elections. In the meanwhile, we must remain vigilant and do what we can to turn it around and to take our country back.

EVOLUTION: FOUNDATION OF THE CULTURE OF DEATH
Evolution is the basis of all secular progressive programs
The news on the pro-life, versus the pro-abortion, uh excuse me, political correct police, I mean pro-choice, which means a woman has the choice to take her unborn baby’s life. Make no mistake about it, the fetus, a live baby prior to birth, is alive, and if left to term, will be born a live baby human being. What I notice from the news is that those officials and loud-mouths who promote pre-born infanticide, pro-choice, which is pro-abortion, are also the same ones who promote the teaching of evolution only in our schools according to the science-standards, as set up by the state board of education. They can not afford to acknowledge a God who holds them accountable.
Evolution teaches Survival of the Fittest. The woman choosing to abort her child, must believe that her choice, as the fittest, is superior to the choice of the unborn, the unfit. Darwin taught the theory of Natural Selection, which teaches us that, as life ‘evolves, "natural selection," picks out the fit alone, to survive and to reproduce. Now, let me think about that for a minute. Am I right in thinking that the pregnant woman has more right to decide the life or death of her unborn, than the unborn itself, who is thought of being unfit, and has no choice at all? That is one reason we, as pro-lifers, have taken on the responsibility of ‘choosing’ for the unborn, to have life.
Interesting also, natural selection is responsible for the growing support of euthanasia, however not called that, but the pc crowd calls it the right of each one of us to choose when to die, as we saw in the Terry Schiavo case. It never was determined for sure whether is was indeed her choice or her estranged husband who was living in adultery with another woman. As we see in some countries in Europe, there is a progression (Natural Selection, anyone?), that we begin with abortion, then progress to voluntary euthanasia, then–as some are now suggesting, mandatory euthanasia for the elderly, who are sick with no chance of recovery. Some are also suggesting this in the United States.
Those who reject creation as a basis for education, promote all of the above, and in addition, support pornography under the guise of free speech. (Studies have proved a connection between pornography, adultery, and pedophilia). Gay marriage is supported under the mis-application of civil rights amendments. Will we soon see legalized plural marriages, bestiality, man-boy relationships? According to the history of nations that have gone down this path–yes!
The Progressives have a plan to rid America of God, and Christianity, so they can implement their programs. Christianity is the antithesis of the leftist goals for socialism and eventually one world government. And evolution as the basis of education is critical, as can be seen from the above article. It is not only important–but mandatory–that we return to creation by God as the basis for our education. We need to register. We need to vote. Some need to run for public office. We must be involved!

Support Kansas State Sovereignty Under the 10th Amendment
Note: The Roe V Wade decision took away the rights of the states to determine whether or not abortion should be legal or not, just as the states determine their own laws about murder, robbery, etc. I am supporting the action mentioned in the following letter by Mary Pilcher Cook. Dear Friends,
I would like to extend to you an opportunity to show your support for our United States Constitution’s Tenth Amendment.
As you may be aware, I introduced Senate Concurrent Resolution 1609 to the Kansas Legislature in early February of this 2009 session. This resolution contains language which clearly spells out state sovereignty rights under the United States Constitution’s Tenth Amendment, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
The U.S. Constitution does not empower the federal government to overrule state laws without restraint. The Constitution does not give the federal government the right to interfere with the affairs of our state – or any state – especially by seducing citizens with money that comes with hidden and unknown obligations. The Constitution does not authorize the federal government to intrude by decree into the lives of citizens with excessive spending of their tax dollars.
As James Madison specified in Federalist Paper 45, the U.S. Constitution creates a federal government of specific listed powers, not one of wide-ranging and far-reaching power that usurps the state’s authority and the rights of the people.
After introducing the resolution, I quickly received massive statewide support. With that support, and because of the significance of the underlying principles of the resolution, I wanted to give as many state senators as possible the ability to co-sponsor the legislation. I had the resolution redrafted, received a total of 24 senators' signatures onto the measure, including all of Senate leadership, and re-introduced the resolution, SCR 1615. You can read it here.
Now I would like to extend you the opportunity to show your support by attaching your signature to this letter.
You won’t be alone. Many organizations throughout our state have voiced concerns about this subject, and their members will also be signing this letter.
The Senate Judiciary Chairman has promised SCR 1615 will have a hearing on Jan. 15, 2010, the first Friday of the 2010 session. But we can take action before that time by sending out a public statement showing the respect and support we have for our state’s sovereignty, and the indignation we feel about the over-stepping of the limits the Constitution places on the federal government.

Today we put the President and Congress on notice: it is the federal government that exists for the benefit of the states, and that includes the great state of Kansas.

'MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL'
You say you will never forget where you were when you heard the news On September 11, 2001. Neither will I.
I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a man who called his wife to say 'Good-Bye.' I held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the peace to say, 'Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK... I am ready to go.'
I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to understand his words and as she realized he wasn't coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out to Me for help. 'I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!' I said. 'Of course I will show you the way home - only believe in Me now.'
I was at the base of the building with the Priest ministering to the injured and devastated souls. I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He heard my voice and answered.
I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and assuring them that their faith has saved them.
I was in Texas, Virginia, California, Michigan, Afghanistan.
I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me?
I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name - though not all know Me. Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor. Some sought Me with their last breath. Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the smoke and flames; 'Come to Me... this way... take my hand.' Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me.
But, I was there.
I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not know why, but I do. However, if you were there in that explosive moment in time, would you have reached for Me?
Sept. 11, 2001, was not the end of the journey for you. But someday your journey will end. And I will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are 'ready to go.'

Margaret Sanger Would Have Loved Barack Obama

Revelations of eugenic ideology and the racist practices of Planned Parenthood are unfolding more and more.
The public is just beginning to believe what people of conscience have known long ago: Planned Parenthood has diabolically perpetrated their murderous plot to surgically eliminate those they deem undesirable. In other words: kill the babies of unsuspecting minority women by aborting their children. Then, tell them this is a "good thing" for you and your people. No other ethnic group in the United States has been decimated more by abortion than the Afro-American community. The war being waged upon innocent captives in the womb is led by Planned Parenthood.
The strategy:
Convince the targeted community to accept their eugenic racist plan by selecting one from their ethnicity to promote it. One of Planned Parenthood's earliest known projects was in 1939. It was called the “Negro Project” -- a project designed to control the birth of "human weeds" which was how Margaret Sanger referred to colored people; a project designed to introduce abortion, sterilization and different forms of birth control. This is what a co-eugenic wrote to Margaret Sanger to make sure the "Negro Project" was a success:
Clarence Gamble, heir of Proctor and Gamble, wrote a memorandum in November, 1939 entitled: "Suggestions for the Negro Project." In the letter he suggested black leaders “be placed in positions where it would appear they were in charge."
This is a letter to Clarence Gamble, from Margaret Sanger, in which she wrote,
"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."
For those of you that don't know, Barack Obama became a "minister" of Planned Parenthood a long time ago. He's so good at carrying out their racist, murderous, agenda against Afro-Americans and society at large, they gave him a 100% score on his voting record. Planned Parenthood is following the strategy of their racist founder, Margaret Sanger, to the letter. Planed Parenthood is saying, “We have our poster boy! Get him out in front as a lure for their women and men. Get them into our abortion clinics and dismember their children by the millions!” You say absurd? No Way! Planned Parenthood’s Valentine cards were sent out to hundreds of thousands of young people in the nation. Whose face is plainly seen waving to them with a big smile? Whose endorsement is given to this racist and calloused organization? Who is used to lure children to give credibility to its hideous plot? Barack Obama, that's who!
On July 17, 2007, Barack Obama said the following before the Planned Parenthood Action Fund:
"Thank You, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! ($) Thanks to all of you at Planned Parenthood for all the work that you are doing for women all across the country and for families all across the country-and for men who have enough sense to realize you are helping them, all across the country. I want to thank Cecile Richards (national president of Planned Parenthood) for her extraordinary leadership. I am happy to see so many good friends here today, including Steve Trombley and Pam Sutherland from my home state of Illinois. We had a number of battles down in Springfield from many years and it's wonderful to see that they are here today"
The first friend mentioned is, Cecile Richards, who he commends for extraordinary leadership in killing babies who are disproportionately black.
The second is, Steve Trombley, who is the president of Planned Parenthood Chicago. You can imagine how many of our young women have been victimized and whose pre-born children were killed under his supervision. His third friend he mentions is, Pam Sutherland. She is the State CEO of Planned Parenthood for Illinois. America needs to know how much these folks were, and continue today, to be in the head and actions of Senator Barack Obama. How much did he compromise his own values?
I choose here to quote Dr. Martin Luther King from his last Sunday sermon before his death:
"There comes a time when one must take the position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because conscience tells him it is right. I believe today that there is a need for all people of goodwill to come with a massive act of conscience and say in the words of the old Negro Spiritual, ‘We ain't goin' study war no more.’"
This is the challenge facing modern man.
When the challenge came to Barack Obama to call on conscience, he refused. What most Americans would say no to, he chooses to say, yes to! He refused to do what The Dream called for: to allow your conscience to tell you what is right and what would be wrong. You may ask, why, but always remember this observation: Abortion is a lot like slavery; if it was not lucrative, it would not have been legal!
Pam Sutherland ... of ... Illinois Planned Parenthood ... told ABC News, "We worked with him specifically on his strategy. The Republicans were in control of the Illinois Senate at the time. They loved to hold votes on 'partial birth' and 'born alive.' They put these bills out all the time because they wanted to pigeonhole Democrats. ..."
Let me interpret. We, Planned Parenthood, told him what to say, and how to say it, so we could continue to kill infants; babies, just a few inches from birth, and those completely out of the womb that we missed! Our "colored minister" was well prepared by Planned Parenthood. Partial Birth abortion -- which I will not describe here -- but know that 80% of Americans don't want this barbaric act practiced in this country – Barack Obama voted to keep legal! The Born Alive Victims Act is a law to protect a child that was born alive after a botched abortion; a law that would require that the child would receive medical assistance. Barack Obama voted against it! Yes. Barack Obama, with an "engaging personality" is being used by the leading abortion provider in the United States to promote and execute infanticide of predominately minority babies!
And what are most Afro-Americans saying? "Yes We Can! Yes We Can! Yes We Can!" They are ignoring conscience. They are ignoring The Dream!
“I have a Dream, that one day, my four little children, will live in a world where that they won't be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character ….”
Yes, I believe it would be wonderful to have a Black man as president, but it's more important for there to be, God's man as president, and that his character would reflect my values; values reflected in the 10 Commandments and our Declaration of Independence. While most African-Americans are applauding him for the color of his skin, they have failed to look at closely the content of his character.
Martin Luther King, while sitting in a Birmingham jail, without the internet, cell phone, library resources, or communication from the outside, penned that famous prophetic letter to answer some local Pastors who questioned his use of public demonstrations. Martin, in a portion of his letter, discussed the responsibility of the church to address social issues. He said, "… the early church put an end to such evils as infanticide." Martin Luther King wrote from the passion of his spirit -- the spirit that was fighting for justice and equality. Martin called infant killing evil. Barack Obama calls it “a women's right.” Martin Luther King made his observation from a jail cell, having been put there for defending the civil rights of those whom had been denied theirs. Barack Obama has made his from caucusing with those who profit from the destruction of babies in the womb. These are men and women who ignore the silent screams of a lost generation.
Another quote from Dr. Martin Luther King that would be so appropriate here is, “The Negro cannot win if he chooses to sacrifice the future of his children for immediate comfort and safety." It is now imperative we all hear the words of this great Prophet of God. It is obvious we must reject the “Barack Obamas” who have placed us in great danger by their ideologies, a position Martin Luther King warned us we cannot expect to win! Can we trust Barack Obama's judgment? I think not.
Yes, Margaret Sanger would love Barack Obama …. Her protégés certainly do

This is a letter to Clarence Gamble, from Margaret Sanger, in which she wrote,
"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."
For those of you that don't know, Barack Obama became a "minister" of Planned Parenthood a long time ago. He's so good at carrying out their racist, murderous, agenda against Afro-Americans and society at large, they gave him a 100% score on his voting record. Planned Parenthood is following the strategy of their racist founder, Margaret Sanger, to the letter. Planed Parenthood is saying, “We have our poster boy! Get him out in front as a lure for their women and men. Get them into our abortion clinics and dismember their children by the millions!” You say absurd? No Way! Planned Parenthood’s Valentine cards were sent out to hundreds of thousands of young people in the nation. Whose face is plainly seen waving to them with a big smile? Whose endorsement is given to this racist and calloused organization? Who is used to lure children to give credibility to its hideous plot? Barack Obama, that's who!
On July 17, 2007, Barack Obama said the following before the Planned Parenthood Action Fund:
"Thank You, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! ($) Thanks to all of you at Planned Parenthood for all the work that you are doing for women all across the country and for families all across the country-and for men who have enough sense to realize you are helping them, all across the country. I want to thank Cecile Richards (national president of Planned Parenthood) for her extraordinary leadership. I am happy to see so many good friends here today, including Steve Trombley and Pam Sutherland from my home state of Illinois. We had a number of battles down in Springfield from many years and it's wonderful to see that they are here today"
The first friend mentioned is, Cecile Richards, who he commends for extraordinary leadership in killing babies who are disproportionately black.
The second is, Steve Trombley, who is the president of Planned Parenthood Chicago. You can imagine how many of our young women have been victimized and whose pre-born children were killed under his supervision. His third friend he mentions is, Pam Sutherland. She is the State CEO of Planned Parenthood for Illinois. America needs to know how much these folks were, and continue today, to be in the head and actions of Senator Barack Obama. How much did he compromise his own values?
I choose here to quote Dr. Martin Luther King from his last Sunday sermon before his death:
"There comes a time when one must take the position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because conscience tells him it is right. I believe today that there is a need for all people of goodwill to come with a massive act of conscience and say in the words of the old Negro Spiritual, ‘We ain't goin' study war no more.’"
This is the challenge facing modern man.
When the challenge came to Barack Obama to call on conscience, he refused. What most Americans would say no to, he chooses to say, yes to! He refused to do what The Dream called for: to allow your conscience to tell you what is right and what would be wrong. You may ask, why, but always remember this observation: Abortion is a lot like slavery; if it was not lucrative, it would not have been legal!
Pam Sutherland ... of ... Illinois Planned Parenthood ... told ABC News, "We worked with him specifically on his strategy. The Republicans were in control of the Illinois Senate at the time. They loved to hold votes on 'partial birth' and 'born alive.' They put these bills out all the time because they wanted to pigeonhole Democrats. ..."
Let me interpret. We, Planned Parenthood, told him what to say, and how to say it, so we could continue to kill infants; babies, just a few inches from birth, and those completely out of the womb that we missed! Our "colored minister" was well prepared by Planned Parenthood. Partial Birth abortion -- which I will not describe here -- but know that 80% of Americans don't want this barbaric act practiced in this country – Barack Obama voted to keep legal! The Born Alive Victims Act is a law to protect a child that was born alive after a botched abortion; a law that would require that the child would receive medical assistance. Barack Obama voted against it! Yes. Barack Obama, with an "engaging personality" is being used by the leading abortion provider in the United States to promote and execute infanticide of predominately minority babies!
And what are most Afro-Americans saying? "Yes We Can! Yes We Can! Yes We Can!" They are ignoring conscience. They are ignoring The Dream!
“I have a Dream, that one day, my four little children, will live in a world where that they won't be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character ….”
Yes, I believe it would be wonderful to have a Black man as president, but it's more important for there to be, God's man as president, and that his character would reflect my values; values reflected in the 10 Commandments and our Declaration of Independence. While most African-Americans are applauding him for the color of his skin, they have failed to look at closely the content of his character.
Martin Luther King, while sitting in a Birmingham jail, without the internet, cell phone, library resources, or communication from the outside, penned that famous prophetic letter to answer some local Pastors who questioned his use of public demonstrations. Martin, in a portion of his letter, discussed the responsibility of the church to address social issues. He said, "… the early church put an end to such evils as infanticide." Martin Luther King wrote from the passion of his spirit -- the spirit that was fighting for justice and equality. Martin called infant killing evil. Barack Obama calls it “a women's right.” Martin Luther King made his observation from a jail cell, having been put there for defending the civil rights of those whom had been denied theirs. Barack Obama has made his from caucusing with those who profit from the destruction of babies in the womb. These are men and women who ignore the silent screams of a lost generation.
Another quote from Dr. Martin Luther King that would be so appropriate here is, “The Negro cannot win if he chooses to sacrifice the future of his children for immediate comfort and safety." It is now imperative we all hear the words of this great Prophet of God. It is obvious we must reject the “Barack Obamas” who have placed us in great danger by their ideologies, a position Martin Luther King warned us we cannot expect to win! Can we trust Barack Obama's judgment? I think not.
Yes, Margaret Sanger would love Barack Obama …. Her protégés certainly do

The Term, “Pro-Choice” as used by Pro-Abortion Supporters who don't want to be associated with the Death of the Unborn

What does the term, “Pro-Choice” mean? It means different things to people of different views of what life is.
A person who supports the pregnant woman’s right to chose whether or not she will have an abortion, will describe this position as pro-choice. The term is used by those who are for keeping abortion legal for whatever purpose. It is used by those who would protect a woman’s "reproductive rights," whatever that is. When you read statements by various ‘pro-choice people, you find a variety of definitions.
Some would use the term to describe a case in which the doctor finds something seriously wrong with the fetus and suggest an abortion, in which case the potential mother, with the consent of her doctor, would agree to the abortion. This assumes most women would keep the baby to term if healthy. There are some ‘pro-choice’ people who are not ‘pro-abortion,’ as some pro-life people call all those who believe in being pro-choice. Care needs to be taken to avoid using a wide brush to characterize those with different beliefs.
However, most abortion supporters use the term euphemistically to cover the realistic and true term, ‘pro-abortion.’ A person who uses the term, ‘pro-choice,’ who believes in ‘abortion-on-demand,’ is using it as a euphemism to make killing an unborn child to appear less the evil act of murder it is. And most abortion supporters, if you read their blogs, articles, and rants, you would come to the conclusion they support ‘abortion-on-demand.’ This is what they mean when they tell you they are pro-choice. A person who is for the death penalty will say he is "pro-death penalty." However, one who is for the killing of the pre-born does not want to be connected with this grisly business, so prefers the term, "pro-choice." And this is hypocrisy on a grand scale.
One of the paragraphs of the Hippocratic oath speaks of abortion: "I will give no deadly medicine to anyone if asked, nor suggest any such advice; likewise, I will not give a pessary to a woman to induce abortion." For a doctor who took the oath to conduct himself accordingly, and performs an abortion, is a hypocrite.
On the other hand, to a person against abortion, and who describes himself as ‘pro-life,’ is for preserving life, and is consistent in being against abortion, in being against euthanasia, and in opposing embryonic stem cell research.
So-called pro-choice supporters call pro-life people, ‘anti-choice.’ No. Pro-life people are not ‘anti-choice,’ but anti-abortion. Pro-lifers believe the woman has the choice as to whether to get pregnant or not. The woman has the choice whether to have relations outside of marriage, or not.
The term, ‘pro-life’ is NOT a euphemism, as is ‘pro-choice.’ Pro-choice, as is obvious when you look at all sides of this very divisive issue, is pro-abortion, pure and simple. No other word is appropriate for killing a fetus, which if left to term, would be born as a human baby.

As a concerned citizen, I oppose any and all efforts to further expand government control over the U.S. healthcare and insurance system. Specifically, I oppose the so-called “Public Option” proposals -- the “Affordable Health Choices Act” and other similar bills -- which amount to government-run, socialized health care that will impose massive taxes on the American people.
Like most Americans, I prefer getting my health coverage through private insurance rather than the federal government. That’s because government healthcare always results in higher costs and rationing. I do not want politicians and bureaucrats dictating the health care and insurance decisions of myself and my employer.
